The mission of the KONE company is to improve the movement of people in urban life. With the use of their experiences, it provides reliable, safe, and comfortable movement of people in and between buildings. The company achieved sales of 9,1 billion EUR in 2018. KONE currently employs over 57 000 professionals in more than 60 countries. Class B shares have been listed on the Nasdaq Helsinki Ltd. stock exchange in Finland since 1967. Collaboration with KONE came out of international tender in 2003 and lasts to this day.
Default situation
Fifteen years ago, the challenge was to introduce into the Czech branch of this company not only ICT technologies guaranteeing uninterrupted operation of the production plant in Ústí nad Labem, but also other related ICT services that are necessary for successful management and development of the company. It was about a complex delivery of ICT technologies for a manufacturing plant built on a “green meadow”, which was followed by a signature of a long-term service contract on which KONE’s further success depends.
KONE has been operating on the Czech and Slovak market since 1991. KONE, a.s. is a part of the NEM (New Emerging Markets) region within CNE (Central and Northern Europe). Headquarters of the Czech division is located in Prague, branches and service centres are in České Budějovice, Hradec Králové, Brno, Olomouc and Ostrava.

We provide complex support and supply of ICT technologies to offices, service, and production plants of KONE ČR. For more than 15 years we serve as a single point of contact for hundreds of users, whether it is a 24/7 phone line, helpdesk portal, or direct daily on-site support. Our role is simultaneously very close and successful cooperation with KONE’s global IT outsourcing.
All central technologies, such as transmission networks, servers, disk storage, databases, applications, and operating systems are connected to continuous supervision and administration. Services cover also industrial computers and systems of production lines, telephony, and Wi-Fi, which are supported in a 24/7 mode with a guarantee of quick intervention in the case of an outage. Today, we can proudly say that we take care of 550 users a day, for whom TOTAL SERVICE means security in technical support and allows them to fully concentrate on their own work.
