TOTAL SERVICE supplied technology and started operating a private data center as a service for the second-largest university in the Czech Republic.
The modern delivery in the form of Platform as a Service (PaaS) brings the university the necessary IT infrastructure for its operating systems, including a guarantee of operability (SLA 24/7) within 120 minutes. A modern solution of hyper-converged infrastructure with eight independent computing nodes enables the operation of all Czech University of Life Sciences servers in a VMware virtual environment with its own storage space, which consists of super-fast SSDs and SAS disks. The solution also includes comprehensive VMware administration, delivery of UCS servers for the operation of Oracle databases, and delivery of the physical layer of data center LAN elements with connection to the university's LAN campus.
